Booking Terms and Conditions
Consultations must be booked in advance.
Fees must be paid in full before the first consultation.
If a consultation has to be cancelled by us, we will arrange to reschedule it, or refund your money in full.
If a consultation has to be cancelled by you, the Client, please do so 48 hours before the start of the session and we will refund your fee in full. If you have to cancel less than 48 hours before the start of the session, we will refund 50% of your fee. No refund will be made if you cancel your booking after the consultation was due to start.
Banking, foreign exchange or transaction fees connected with your booking must be borne by the Client.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.
We do not accept bookings from anyone less than 18 years of age.
Writing extracts must be submitted in Word format via email.
What we can’t do
We cannot provide you with an agent or a publisher, or give advice about self-publishing.
We do not assist students with essays or dissertations.
We do not give feedback on plays, screenplays or poetry.
Disclaimer
Story Board writers are self-employed and provide an independent service. We may be unable to assist with certain types of enquiry, and have the right to refuse to provide the service.
Story Board and its writers will not, in any circumstances, be liable to the Client or any third party for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or other losses or damages of any kind, cost or other expense or compensation, arising from use of the service; clients retain sole responsibility for their work.
